Interactive sample / Data & reporting

Less spreadsheet archaeology.

Map fictional CSV columns, filter an inclusive date window and category, review excluded rows, and download a matching cleaned report in CAD.

Demo only. Fictional business and sample data. No real orders, appointments, payments or messages are created. Please use sample information.

Give your weekly numbers a clear shape.

Use fictional Metro Vancouver data. Paste or load a sample CSV, then map three columns to date, category and amount. Different header names are welcome. Up to 1,000 data rows and 100 KB (100,000 UTF-8 bytes), whether pasted or loaded.

Select the same fictional file again to reload or retry. A successful load replaces the CSV text on this page; review the column mapping and build the report again. Nothing is uploaded.

Download fictional practice CSVs

Choose a fixed example, then select it with “Load a sample CSV file” above. Both files contain 12 fictional rows: 10 valid, one deliberate duplicate and one invalid amount for review. These are practice files, not cleaned exports or blank templates. The renamed-header file needs column mapping.

Downloading an example does not replace your CSV text, column choices, filters, report or summary. Reset or reload does not remove downloaded files from your device.

What this demonstrates

Map source columns without renaming your CSV, then review field validation and duplicates. Narrow retained rows by inclusive start/end dates and category; totals, charts, rows and the cleaned download use the same filters. The reconciliation separates outside-window and other-category rows. Prepare a read-only demo summary of scope, counts and CAD totals before choosing its separate text download; source/mapping/filter changes invalidate that preview. The summary includes no individual source records and is not an invoice or verified audit record. Invalid date windows clear the view and disable downloading; clear filters to restore all dates and categories. Changing the data or mapping clears stale results. Pending file reads also compare the actual CSV text and column choices before finishing; stale file results are discarded, including when an edit event is missing. Invalid rows are flagged; totals include only retained valid rows. Unmapped columns are excluded from the download. Everything is processed locally in the browser.

For your business

A production project would agree on data definitions and deduplication rules, connect the source systems, add reconciliation checks and define the schedule and distribution. Please do not use confidential records in this public demonstration.
